Dear Breadfriends (7/1/2014). Schedules and another note on how it works!

I know we sent out word last week about the 4th and 5th of July, which are this coming Friday and Saturday.

What's the news?

Simply that we will be taking Friday and Saturday off from our labors, so if you usually pick up your bread on either Friday or Saturday, you needn't come to the distribution this week.

More to the point: if you do come looking for bread, we won't be there!

And one thing to add to the last note about the breadshare and how it works.

We recommend that you take a few minutes to familiarize yourself with your Farmigo account page.

You'll see that you can put your bread on "hold" if you plan to be away or otherwise can't get your bread (...so long as we haven't started preparing it yet), you can add extra items to your pick-up, you can change your share in quantity, site, content, and so on. Lots of options. It's not a perfect system, but it usually works pretty well.

And that's it for the moment.

enjoy the heat!
